Good Girls And Bad

This is a photoshoot (or two photoshoots) that I did a few weeks ago with the fabulous stylist, Dennine Dyer. I’ve worked with Dennine a few times before (here and here) and we’ve always had great results.

Instead of shooting just one person this time, Dennine brought four models over. That is, four models, three assistants, a hair stylist, a makeup artist, and her mother. My apartment was literally jam packed for about five hours as clothing was rushed around and tried on, makeup was put on, and models were rushed out to be photographed. We ultimately ended up with two very different stories. One with crazy badass biker chicks who end up getting arrested and one with dainty cute-as-a-button girls having a romp in the park.

Spy Vs. Spy

This is a project I did for my Color Photography class. The objective of the assignment was to create a narrative of any kind. I’ve really been feeling retro sixties things at the moment, so I decided to go with a kischy Old-Spy-Movie theme for the shoot. Here, you can see Carianne as Spy One and Elaina as the sly Spy Two who outwits Spy One and steals her precious houseplant. I shot the series with slide film and processed it in normal color processing in order to get the crazy colors that I got in the prints.
