I can not believe that I haven’t posted anything in a month. I’ve been so incredibly busy the past few weeks with school and work and my internship and getting things prepared for the art show I’m having this weekend! I plan on sitting down and writing more about everything that’s going on in my life once I get a chance to BREATHE, but for now…. Some information about my art opening on Saturday!
The show is titled “Maxwell Tielman: Photomontages” and is being held at the Washington Art Association in Washington, Connecticut. The show features a series of fifteen recent and new semi-autobiographical photomontage works that touch on a number of topics including consumerism, nostalgia, and my hometown.
It’s late and I’ve gotten to the point of the day in which I can not string together coherent sentences, so instead of going into too much incomprehensible detail about my art, I’ve just copied a few of the images that will be on display below.
