I would think about adding some more contrast to it, just a tad. but yeah, its pretty nice.

I already added a ton of contrast to it. I think I thought that anything darker would be a bit too dark. I could give it a try, though.

Honestly, this photo is drab. You have some amazing work that could be entered. But this photo isn’t all that engaging. If you are going to enter a landscape, pick something with depth and vibrancy, something that the viewer can get lost in. I don’t want to come across sounding rude or mean, but I think you have a better chance of winning with some of your other work. You are a talented photography, but your talent doesn’t shine through with this particular piece.

Rather than trying to retrofit a photograph for this competition, perhaps you could shoot images specifically for the contest.

I actually like the photo because it seems so old-fashioned and classic, in a way. I think it looks kind of cold and mysterious. Thanks for the tips, though. I didn’t have time to get out and take a picture yet. I might do that. The photos must be submitted by like, next week, though.

Also, the photos are supposed to be of Olmsted parks in Buffalo. I think that if I went and took something right now at one of the parks, it would look kind of generic. This photo shows an unusual aspect of on of the parks.

I love your pictures. Some of them seriously inspire me to just go out and take pictures. You capture great moments in time.

    It’s pretty good…but you’re a great photographer. I’m sure you could find/take something better.

    Love the new site layout.
