Sorry I haven’t updated in like a week, but I’ve been REALLY busy for the past few days. Being the king of Procrastination Land, I had put off a book length of reading until the day before it was due. Not really a good idea. Oddly, enough, though, for perhaps the first time in my entire life, I actually read that much and got it done in time. So. East of Eden’s all done. All 601 pages of it.
Unfortunately, after that, I still had history reading to do. I still didn’t finish it and I had the test of the material today. (Whee!) Then, there’s also a bunch of Spanish that I need to study and Physics, too! Spanish and Physics. If somebody were to ask me what I’ve learned this year in those classes, I think I would have to tell them honestly, hardly anything. Spanish I was horrible at to begin with. I barely passed last year. This year, in an even more advanced course, I’m drowning in it. I DON’T UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL. The same is basically true for Physics. The physics review book and text book are so incredibly dull that I stop paying attention to what I’m reading after about two sentences. Hence the not having learned anything at all whatsoever this year. And I’m serious.
Today was a strange day at school. It’s december first. The ground is wet outside from the rain we had last night. The wind is…. blowy. It’s pretty cold. And we had a fire drill. And the fire department came. And all of the students were outside in the freezing cold weather without any coats on. Even the kids from gym class. For like TEN MINUTES. It was horrible. But really fun at the same time. I almost got blown over by the wind.

YOU HAD A FIRE DRILL? IN DECEMBER? thats craziness.
i <3 the new site design. yay!
We have fire drills every month. The funny thing is that they warn us about them, and they’re usually in the morning, so it’s not so much of a all-of-a-sudden-there’s-a-fire drill, but more of a don’t-put-your-coats-away-just-yet-because-we’ll-be-outside-for-about-five-minutes-at-8:32 drill.
Love the design. Sorry you’re pooped. Don’t you just hate Wednesdays?
That fire drill was EVIL. We were in the middle of technology and I had a tshirt on. I was just about to hammer in the nail and then this bing ringy alarm just EXPLODES in my ear. Almost pulverized my finger.
At least it hadn’t started snowing. Had it (and I am basing this on my second hand knowledge of Buffalo), you might have been involved with something alot like the movie “Alive”.
at least you didn’t sleep through it. I have a friend who slept through a fire drill. Granted, it was at 3am and it wasn’t like her dorm was on fire…….her dad is a firefighter too. Needless to say, we haven’t told him about this.
Love the new design <3
