When I was viewing the recently updated blogs from TypePad to see if I wanted to use it, I noticed that many of the users are knitting fans. Is this a sudden new fad, knitting? Or is it as bizarre as it seems to me? Here’s a list of some of the TypePad blogs with knitting fans:

I’m not sure if they’re all people who are completely obsessed with knitting, but I think that knitting is mentioned in their blogs, which I think is weird.

Perhaps they just want to make their own scarves, which are oddly becoming a big fad.
Curious as to why you think it is weird??
I’m not against knitting or anything, but I just didn’t know it was so popular. It just seems like a kind of olden-dayish thing instead of a newer-dayish thing.
A lot of us highlight our knitting as to record our failures and accomplishments. I started knitting in high school, but started learning seriously last summer. Right now, I am struggling with socks. My life is very stressful, (ain’t most) and I find knitting is like meditation for me. Since everyone objected to my drinking, this is much healthier……..lol.
