Totally Awesome (Free) Gift Idea

bloggercard.jpg

I was on Blogger.com and I found a super cool gift idea on one of their new posts on the main page. Click here for the article. If you have a blogger account, make a new blog, then invite a person to be an author on the blog. Give a card with blogger information on it and that way you can give a blog as a gift. The coolest part: it looks great and it’s free (besides the cost of buying card board and glue and things like that).

I don’t really use blogger too much, not for my personal blog anymore, at least. I still have an account there, and I want to try out that as a gift.

Even better as a gift if you know anything about making blogger templates, to make it more personal.

you are paleturquoise
#AFEEEE

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You’re smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people’s conflicts well.

Your saturation level is low – You stay out of stressful situations and advise others to do the same. You may not be the go-to person when something really needs done, but you know never to blow things out of proportion.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

I need to get out more.

Gar. I really need to get out more. Spend less time indoors. It really is sort of a problem that when one really tries hard on their weblog, or website that they end up not being able to do anything because they are so hooked on making their website look pretty. Then their weblogs become a jumble of meaningless boring posts about how they can’t get outside and how their lives are totally boring.

Last night was fun. I wasn’t expecting to have fun, being the anti-social person I am. I don’t really like the idea of traveling like an hour and a half to go visit a family I hardly know to eat dinner. We ended up talking from like 7 to 10:30 at the dinner table. It was cool.

I really think that city people should be less mean to people who live in the suburbs or the country. I mean, give them a break! They chose to live out there, maybe they have a reason! And what’s really wrong with that? I don’t think I would want to live out there, because I’d be paranoid about being alone and not within screaming distance of the other houses, but that’s me. What’s wrong with liking the more outdoorsie places, if you happen to live in the country…. And if you live in one of those suburbs littered with sprawl…. well, maybe they like having to drive to do everything…. But honestly, it’s not really like they’re any less smart than city people. And suburban livers should do the same. If it really is true that suburban people think of city livers as punks and gangsters who have drive by shootings every day, then they should come into the city once in a while. But all in all, I think that people are people and we should all treat each other better.

Snow, snow, snow, snow, SNOWWWW!

It seems like the sky was saving the snow for Christmas to celebrate. I mentioned earlier about the weather, how nearly all the snow had melted. On Christmas day, wow! Lots of snow! White Christmas!

Any-who! I’ve hardly left the house over the days since Christmas, except yesterday when I went to get some take out food…. I’ve been inside watching Dark Angel episodes (whee, they came, finally!) and last night I watched Ellen Degeneres Here And Now on DVD. Ellen Degeneres is so funny! I totally want her new book.

Tom Toles and some of his family came over yesterday for lunch yesterday. I’m probably only mentioning that because he’s a cartoonist and stuff…. I didn’t really talk with them much, my sister and I were watching Dark Angel. :P We’re going to an author’s house for dinner tonight. I think my father read the person’s book.

I’m watching Ellen Degenres’s DVD again, while typing. It’s really funny. Rent it. :)

Merry Christmas!

Yay! Presents!

This Christmas was so far really cool! My sister and I got a bunch of cool stuff, and my sister, as usual is having her anual “you-messed-up-my-Christmas!” fit, but it’s okay. She got lots of cool gifts (like a chef hat and an American Girl Felicity doll, and the problem is with her guitar my mother got her. It’s for right handers, she’s a lefty. I think we can get it fixed, though.

I got cool presents. Here’s a list of some cool things I got:

•A lava lamp

•The Sims Superstar

•A Tin Spider Man lunchbox

•Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix on CD

•A Pop up book

I also have Dark Angel seasons one and two and two books (Coraline and The Life of Pi) coming in the mail from Barnes and Noble, haven’t arrived yet, though.

The Supposed Annual Christmas Eve Get-Together

It’s Christmas Eve, so my family is going over to our neighbors’ house to have our little supposed tradition of an annual Christmas Eve get together party thing. I’m not feeling well, but at least it should get me into more of a Christmas spirit, what with all the snow being melted. :P My mother says it’s supposed to snow tonight, I really hope it does, to make it seems more Christmasy around here. I also need to take a shower….

I think I have a cavivity….

I think I have a cavity. There seems to be either wearing away on one of my fillings or there is actually a cavity on it. It doesn’t really hurt…. It might and I might be mistaking it from the little pains that come with wearing my expanders (which I still have to put in, eek!). But there is what seems to be a little indent or something forming on my tooth. And I think this tooth has had a root canal and whoever’s reading this must think I have the worst teeth in the world! If it had a root canal, can the filling or the inside of the tooth become any more cavitied if most of it’s filling? I heard that fillings can’t get cavities! Maybe this tooth wasn’t the one that got a root canal. I can’t really remember. I had a dentist appointment like last week, and he looked at my mouth, but it was mostly just a check up to see how my expansion was coming along with my expanders. My next appointment is like at the end of January! I don’t want it to get worse if it is a cavity! Eeek!

How about this weather, eh?

Goodness! It was all nice and snowy last week, it seemed perfect for Christmas! Guess what? Now it’s raining outside and washing all that nice snow away! Is this because of global warming? It’s not cool.
